Coweta Tote Rentals (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides moving-tote rental services in Coweta County, Peachtree City, and surrounding areas in Georgia, USA. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to cowetatoterentals.com and to bookings and messages you send us through it.
Information We Collect
Information you give us when you request a rental, contact us, or submit a cancellation or reschedule request:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Delivery and pickup addresses
- Your preferred delivery or pickup date, and any notes you add (gate codes, stairs, scheduling details, and anything else you choose to tell us)
- The rental package you select and the booking amount
Information collected automatically. Our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs that include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, which are used for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or session-recording tools on this site. The service-area map is loaded from OpenStreetMap and our fonts from Google Fonts; loading those resources sends your IP address to those providers as a normal part of delivering the page.
Payment information. Card payments are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page — not on our site. We never see or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive a confirmation of payment and limited details such as the card brand, the last four digits, and a Stripe customer reference.
How We Use Your Information
- Process, schedule, and fulfill your rental order
- Coordinate delivery and pickup, and contact you about your rental
- Send booking confirmations, invoices, receipts, and service updates
- Respond to your questions, cancellation requests, and reschedule requests
- Retain a payment method on file, through Stripe, so we can charge for lost, damaged, or unreturned equipment as described in our rental agreement
- Prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, and comply with our legal and tax obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or targeted advertising.
Text Messages and Phone Calls
By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call or text you about your rental — for example, to confirm your delivery window or arrange pickup. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time; opting out will not affect a rental you have already booked, though it may limit how we can reach you about scheduling. Consenting to texts is not a condition of renting from us. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not share your phone number for anyone else’s marketing.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as needed to run the business:
- Service providers that process information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us: Stripe (payment processing), Airtable (booking and message records), Resend (sending our transactional email), and Netlify (website hosting).
- Legal and safety reasons — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others.
- Business transfer — if the business is sold or transferred, booking records may transfer as part of that transaction.
Data Retention
We keep booking and contact records for as long as needed to provide the service and then for our tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping — generally up to seven years for records tied to a payment — after which they are deleted or anonymized. Stripe retains payment records under its own policies.
Data Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and card data is handled solely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. We limit who can access booking records and take other reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights
You may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information (we may keep what the law requires us to keep, such as payment and tax records)
To make a request, email justin@cowetatoterentals.com from the address on your booking, or call 470-683-2551. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not deny you service or charge you a different price for exercising these rights.
Depending on where you live, your state (for example, California, Virginia, or Colorado) may give you these and similar rights, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still contact us with any request.
Children’s Privacy
This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-Party Links
Our site links to other sites, such as our Facebook and Google Business pages. Once you leave our site, this policy no longer applies; the privacy practices of those sites are their own.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and post the revised version on this page. Significant changes may also be noted on the site or in an email.
